Deadline is exclusively reporting that Wes Chatham is the latest name to join the cast for the upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka at Disney+.

The series focuses on Ahsoka Tano. Debuting in the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano was the Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, then appearing as a lead character in the Clone Wars animated series and also appeared in Star Wars Rebels.

Multiple sources tell Deadline that Wes Chatham (whose credits include The Expanse and Tenet) will be playing the right-hand man to Thrawn in the upcoming series.

The series is written by Dave Filoni, who will also serve as executive producer alongside Jon Favreau. Wes Chatham will join a cast that also stars Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Eman Esfandi, Hayden Christensen, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, Ray Stevenson, Genevieve O’Reilly and Lars Mikkelsen.

Ahsoka is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in August 2023.
