Collider is exclusively reporting that Maria Bakalova, David Harbour, Indira Varma, Alan Tudyk, Zoe Chao and Steve Agee will be joining Sean Gunn and Frank Grillo for the upcoming DC animated series Creature Commandos.

Creature Commandos, initially in DC Comics set during World War II where a team of classic monsters assembled to fight Nazis, the animated series will be revamped with a modern concept as Amanda Waller creates a black ops team out of monstrous prisoners.

Maria Bakalova (whose credits include Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm and Bodies Bodies Bodies) be be voicing Ilana Rostovic. David Harbour (whose credits include Stranger Things and the upcoming Gran Turismo film) will be voicing Eric Frankenstein. Indira Varma (whose credits include Game of Thrones and Obi-Wan Kenobi) will be voicing The Bride. Alan Tudyk (whose credits include Doom Patrol and Resident Alien) will be voicing Dr. Phosphorus. Zoe Chao (whose credits include Love Life and The Afterparty) will be voicing Nina Mazursky. Steve Agee will be reprising the role of John Economos, who he portrayed in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker. Sean Gunn will also be voicing the role of G. I. Robot.

The seven-episode animated series is being written by James Gunn, who has stated that the voice actors cast in these roles in Creature Commandos will also portray their live-action counterparts in future DC projects.
