Universal Pictures have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of the video game franchise Five Nights At Freddy’s.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

The film follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realises the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.

The film is written by Scott Cawthon, Emma Tammi, and Seth Cuddeback, directed by Emma Tammi, and stars Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Kat Conner Sterling, Piper Rubio, Mary Stuart Masterson and Matthew Lillard.

Five Nights At Freddy’s is scheduled for cinematic release on the 27th October 2023, where it will also be released on the Peacock streaming service on the same day.
