The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Signature Entertainment have acquired the U.K and Ireland rights for the Jodie Comer-led survival thriller The End We Start From.
The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
When an environmental crisis sees London submerged by flood waters, a young family is torn apart in the chaos. As a woman and her newborn try and find their way home, the profound novelty of motherhood is brought into sharp focus in this intimate and poetic portrayal of family survival.
Marc Goldberg, CEO of Signature Entertainment, released a statement saying:

The film is being produced by Leah Clarke, Liza Marshall, Adam Ackland, Amy Jackson and Sophie Hunter. Executive producers include Claudia Yusef and Eva Yates for BBC Film, Sébastien Raybaud, Dave Caplan, Jason Cloth, Lizzie Francke for the BFI, Rob Harper, Jodie Comer, Benedict Cumberbatch and Mark Strong. The film was developed with support from BBC Film and financed by Anton, C2 Motion Picture Group, BBC Film and BFI.
The film is written by Alice Birch, directed by Mahalia Belo and also stars Katherine Waterston, Joel Fry, Gina McKee, Nina Sosanya, Mark Strong and Benedict Cumberbatch.
