The premise of the series, which came out last year on the streaming service, is as follows:

Told in real time, “Hijack” is a tense thriller that follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven-hour flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers.

The first season was led by Idris Elba and also starred Archie Panjabi, Ben Miles, Max Beesley, Christine Adams, Eve Myles, Aimée Kelly, Mohamed Elsandel, Jasper Britton, James Burrows, Harry Michell and Neil Maskell.
