A24 have released the official trailer for the third instalment in the X film series MaXXXine.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. However, as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Los Angeles, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

Like the previous films in the X series, X and Pearl, this film is written and directed by Ti West, with Mia Goth reprising the X role of Maxine Minx. The film also stars Lily Collins, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, Bobby Cannavale, Michelle Monaghan, Moses Sumney, Halsey and Giancarlo Esposito.

MaXXXine is scheduled for cinematic release on the 5th July 2024.
