Actress from the much beloved Friday Night Lights TV Series and GI Joe: Retaliation, Adrianne Palicki is heading back to the small screen to play the role of superspy Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird in the second season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on ABC.

In the comics, Bobbi Morse is a super spy exceptional fighting skills, who has teamed up with S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers many times in comics history and is connected in that world with Clint Barton aka Hawkeye. Question becomes then, since this is currently figured to be a recurring role for Palicki, will Marvel follow through the comic lines of Mockingbird and Hawkeye conflicting at the start but then gradually get together?

This will not be Palicki’s first rodeo in the comic genre as she was the main star lead in the failed CW attempt of Wonder Woman and an episode of Smallville.

Agents of SHIELD starts back towards the end of September.
