Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D: Renewed For Sixth Season At ABC

Media outlets are reporting that Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has been renewed for a sixth season at ABC.

 

The series started out after the events of the first Avengers film, where the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement: Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) needs a team of agents to find out and fix alien events. This team included Ward, May, Skye, Simmons, Fitz, and a resurrected Agent Phil Coulson. The fifth season sees the S.H.I.E.L.D team being transported to a. future in which Earth has been destroyed and in the second half of the season, they arrive back in the present and attempt to prevent this future from happening.

 

The sixth season will consist of thirteen episodes, rather than the usual twenty-two episodes that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has had for the last five seasons.

 

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons and Natalia Cordova-Buckley.
