Arkansas: Eden Brolin Joins Cast For Mafia Film

Deadline is reporting that Eden Brolin is the latest name to join the cast of  indie mafia film Arkansas.

The film is set to focus on two low-level drug runners in the Dixie Mafia. Kyle and Swin live by the orders of Arkansas-based drug kingpin Frog, whom they’ve never met. But when a deal goes horribly wrong, the consequences are deadly.

The report doesn’t state what role Eden Brolin (whose credits include Emerald City and Beyond) will be playing in the film. She’ll join already cast Vince Vaughn, Liam Hemsworth and Clark Duke, with Duke also making his directorial feature debut.

Patrick Hibler will serve as producer on the project alongside Jeff Rice, Martin Sprock and Storyboard Media. David Gilbery and Charles Dorfman of Media Finance Capital will serve as executive producers on the project alongside Jason Allison of Don Kee Productions, Michael S. Smith, Franchesca Lantz, Paris Kaisdokostas-Latsis of Rhea Films, Terry Dougas, Jean-Luc De Fanti, Andre Relis, Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard, Phil Kim and Hercules Film Fund.

Arkansas is set to commence production this week, with VMI Worldwide handling sales at AFM.
