Epic Pictures Group have released the official trailer for the upcoming wrestling documentary Nail In The Coffin: The Fall and Rise of Vampiro.

The official synopsis for the documentary is as follows:

Semi-retired professional wrestler, Ian Hodkinson reveals the harsh realities behind the glamour of being famous in the world of wrestling as Vampiro. A lucha libra legend, Hodkinson has to grapple with working behind the scenes as the Director of Talent in Mexico City while simultaneously raising his teenage daughter, Dasha, in Canada. Vampiro tells his story about his rise to fame and the challenges of splitting his time between the muscle-bound family he has always known and the unknown world of single parenthood.

I’m not overly familiar with Vampiro/Ian Hodkinson, though I do know him mostly through his co-commentating work on Lucha Underground and his storyline particularly with Pentagon Jr. It does have The Wrestler feel to it and I look forward to checking it out.

Nail In The Coffin: The Fall and Rise of Vampiro is directed by Michael Paszt and will become available On Demand on the 8th September 2020 and on Blu-Ray on the 22nd September 2020.
