Variety is exclusively reporting that VMI Releasing has acquired the opioid crisis drama film Junction.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
Junction will address the opioid crisis in America from three different points of view: the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, a doctor and a patient. Each character comes face to face with their decisions and their role in the epidemic.

VMI was handling worldwide sales for the project last year, but under VMI releasing, Junction is now scheduled for cinematic and on-demand release on the 24th January 2024.
