The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Chaske Spencer is the latest name to join the cast of Peacock’s upcoming horror thriller series Teacup.

The series will follow a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat to survive.

Chaske Spencer (whose credits include Echo and The English) will be playing the role of Ruben Shanley.

The series is inspired by Robert McCammon’s bestselling novel Stinger. James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett of Atomic Monster will serve as executive producers on the project alongside Ian McCulloch, who will be writing the series. E.L Katz will direct and executive produce. Also executive producing are author Robert McCammon, Francisca X. Hu and Kevin Tancharoen. Danielle Bozzone will oversee the project for Atomic Monster.
