Black Panther: Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya And Florence Kasumba Join Cast

film-news-black-panther-forest-whitaker-daniel-kaluuya-and-florence-kasumba-join-castVariety exclusively reports that Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba are the latest names to be joining the cast of Marvel’s Black Panther.

 

Black Panther (written and directed by Coogler) will have us following T’Challa, the prince of the African nation of Wakanda, who must take over the throne after his father’s murder. Whitaker will be playing the role of Zuri, an elder stateman in Wakanda, with Kaluuya (credits include Welcome To The Punch and Sicario) will be playing the role of W’Kabi, T’Challa’s confidant, and Kasumba will be reprising her role of Ayo, a member of the Dora Milaje, who appeared briefly in Captain America: Civil War.

 

The trio will be joining a cast that includes Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa/Black Panther), Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Winston Duke ( M’Baku/Man-Ape) and potentially Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaue) which is yet to be confirmed.

 

Black Panther is scheduled for cinematic release on the 16th February 2018.
