Deadline is reporting that Dana Delany is the latest name to join the cast for the upcoming crime drama series Tulsa King.
The official synopsis for the series is as follows:
Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realising that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
Dana Delany (whose credits include Body of Proof and The Code) will be playing the role of Margaret, an affluent and influential equestrian and owner of a sprawling horse farm and animal preserve. She is a formidable presence and a trustee of the Annie Oakley Society.
Terence Winter, whose credits include The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, serves as the writer and showrunner of the series, which is being executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Stallone, Winter, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter and Braden Aftergood.
Delany will join a cast that includes Sylvester Stallone, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson and Garrett Hedlund.
Tulsa King will premiere on Paramount+ on the 13th November 2022.
