Deadline is reporting that Kristin Kreuk, Marc Bendavid, Willie C. Carpenter, Currie Graham, Harvey Guillén and Maxwell Jenkins are the latest names to join the cast of Reacher, the Amazon series based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novel series.

The novel series focuses on Jack Reacher, former major in the United States Army Military Police Corps, roaming the United States, taking odd jobs and investigating suspicious and frequently dangerous situations. The first season will be based on the first Jack Reacher novel, The Killing Floor, which is set in Georgia. The character has appeared in multiple novels since the late 90’s, and has had two films, one in 2012 (Jack Reacher) and its 2016 sequel (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back), with Tom Cruise as the title character.

Kristin Kreuk (whose credits include Smallville and Burden of Truth) will be playing the role of Charlie. Happily married to Hubble, the refined former debutante is living the Country Club life but is much tougher than she looks. Marc Bendavid (whose credits include Dark Matter and Good Witch) will be playing the role of Hubble, a frazzled accountant living a grander life than he can afford and gets caught up in a business he would never remotely consider. Hubble loves his family and will do whatever’s necessary to protect them. Willie C. Carpenter (whose credits include Brawl In Cell Block 99 and New Amsterdam) will be playing the role of Mosley. A life-long resident of Margrave and the town barber, Mosley hates what’s going on in Margrave and is happy to help Reacher, advising him on the ins and outs of the small town. Currie Graham (whose credits include Project Blue Book and The Rookie) will be playing the role of Kliner Sr. Beloved by the townspeople for his generosity in saving the struggling town of Margrave, this formidable businessman has a very dark side. Harvey Guillén (whose credits include What We Do In The Shadows and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) will be playing the role of Jasper, Margrave’s medical examiner who is suddenly overwhelmed and terrified by multiple murders in his small town. Maxwell Jenkins (whose credits include Lost In Space and Good Joe Bell) will be playing the role a young Reacher, who learns the life lessons that make Jack Reacher the man he becomes.

The first season will be written and executive produced by Nick Santora, who will also serve as showrunner. Also serving as executive producers are David Ellison and Dana Goldberg for Skydance TV, Lee Child, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Marcy Ross and Christopher McQuarrie. Carolyn Harris will oversee the series for Skydance Television, which produces the series with Amazon Studios and Paramount TV Studios.

The new additions will join a cast that includes Alan Ritchson, Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill, Maria Sten and Hugh Thompson.
