Deadline is exclusively reporting that Theo Rossi is the latest name to join the cast for The Batman spinoff series The Penguin.

The series is set to expand the world that Matt Reeves has created, focusing on Farrell’s Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobblepot in the aftermath of events that occurred in The Batman.

While Theo Rossi’s role is being kept under wraps, the report states that it will be a key recurring role that he’ll have in the series. Theo Rossi’s recent credits include Emily The Criminal and Army of the Dead.

The Penguin is being produced by Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Reeves also serves as executive producer alongside Colin Farrell, Dylan Clark, Lauren LeFranc, Craig Zobel and Daniel Pipski. Rafi Crohn serves as co-executive producer. LeFranc also serves as writer and showrunner, while Zobel directs the first three episodes. The series itself will consist of eight episodes.
