The Penguin: Carmen Ejogo, François Chau And David H. Holmes Join Cast For The Batman Spinoff Series At HBO Max

Variety is exclusively reporting that Carmen Ejogo, François Chau and David H. Holmes are the latest names to join the cast for The Batman spinoff series The Penguin.

The series is set to expand the world that Matt Reeves has created, focusing on Farrell’s Oswald ‘Oz’ Cobblepot in the aftermath of events that occurred in The Batman.

The report doesn’t state what roles the trio will be playing in the series. Carmen Ejogo’s recent credits include Your Honor and the upcoming series I’m A Virgo. François Chau’s recent credits include The Expanse and Law and Order: Organized Crime. David H Holmes’ recent credits include Mindhunter and High Fidelity.

The Penguin is being produced by Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Reeves also serves as executive producer alongside Colin Farrell, Dylan Clark, Lauren LeFranc, Craig Zobel and Daniel Pipski. Rafi Crohn serves as co-executive producer. LeFranc also serves as writer and showrunner, while Zobel directs the first three episodes. The series itself will consist of eight episodes.
